Stewardship entails readiness to serve others and vigilance in that service. COPING WITH GRIEF St. Francis Xavier is offering a new ministry, Coping with Grief, for personsgrieving the death of a spouse or a close loved one. An initial meeting will beheld on Monday, December 12 th from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the religiouseducation building (TGIF room). This meeting will explore the needs of thegrieving in order to plan for future support gatherings. We hope you will joinus for conversation, coffee, and dessert. ( This group is being formed basedon our interest from the parish survey that was recently done). PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD Advent Reflection Day Sunday, Dec. 11 th , 10:15 a.m .– 2:15 p.m.Cost $5.00 (for lunch and snacks). Washington has requested our help with theirannual project of filling Christmas stockings to be given to Bullitt Countychildren of prisoners. They are asking folks to pick up a stocking (boy or girland age is identified on each stocking) and fill them with appropriate items (a list of suggestions is provided). Their stockings are located in the gatheringspace of church. Return your filled stockings to St. Francis Xavier byDec. 1 st .
