As supporters of the FairFuelUK campaign, BAR watched with interest when the fuel priceissue was debated in Parliament on Tuesday 15 November. The discussion was triggeredbecause the FairFuelUK epetition reached over 100,000 signatures. MPs for all Partiesmade impassioned pleas on behalf of their constituents to reduce fuel duty next year. A Sad Farewell to an Industry Friend We regret to inform you of the death of Peter Middup, Publisher of Premises & FacilitiesManagement magazine, a prominent title within the FM industry and the CommercialMoving market. Peter was a great supporter of the CMG and attended many BARConferences to deliver the results of PFM’s ‘Moving Trend Survey’. Peter sadly passedaway whilst on holiday in Wales with his wife on 16 November 2011. Peter was a charismaticand hugely popular individual within the industry. He will be missed by all who knew him.
