  • 2. God Gives Us His Words of Eternal Life Luke 12:32-34 Found on page 871 in our guest Bibles. Today’s Scripture:
  • 3. Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of possessions. ~ Jesus of Nazareth in Luke 12:15 “
  • 4. I tell you, do not be anxious about your life…. Instead seek first his kingdom, and all these things will be added unto you. ~ Jesus of Nazareth in Luke 12:22, 31 “
  • 5. Where Your Treasure Is ~ The Gospel of Luke 12:32-34 ~
  • 6. 32 Fear not, little flock… Luke 12:32-34
  • 7. 32 Fear not, little flock, for… Luke 12:32-34
  • 8. Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 32 Fear not, little flock, for it is your Luke 12:32-34
  • 9. “Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe the gospel.” ~ The Gospel of Mark, 1:14
  • 10. “And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction.” ~ The Gospel of Matthew, 9:25
  • 11. “…he said to them, I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well; for I was sent for this purpose.” ~ The Gospel of Luke, 4:43
  • 12. Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 32 Fear not, little flock, for it is your Luke 12:32-34
  • 13. needy. 33 Sell your possessions, and give to the Luke 12:32-34
  • 14. “The king is close enough to put his hand into your pocketbook and, for most Westerners, that is far too intrusive and impolite.”
  • 15. needy. Provide yourselves with money- bags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no moth destroys. 33 Sell your possessions, and give to the Luke 12:32-34
  • 16. As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. ~ The Apostle Paul in 1 Timothy 6:17
  • 17. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up for themselves a good foundation for the future, so they may take hold of that which is truly life. ~ The Apostle Paul in 1 Timothy 6:17
  • 18. your heart will be also. 34 For where your treasure is, there Luke 12:32-34
  • 19. “Store up your treasure on earth and it will inevitably pull your heart in the direction of earth. Store it in heaven, and it will pull your heart, and with it, your goals, ambitions and longings, toward heaven.”
  • 20. Why does Luke record this account in his historical biography of Jesus? Important Question
  • 21. Where your treasure is, there your heart is.
