  • 5. 2. File storageYou can upload various documents all created inMicrosoft Word to Google Docs and they willautomatically be given a web URL if you want toshare them. This could b a great way of adding alink to a blog, for example, when you want toshare a document that doesnt have a URL if it isjust on your computer. You can also saveJPEG and MP3 files.

  • 12. 5. Collaborate with non-Google usersDid you know that at least 100 people can writeat the same time in a Google Doc! (Exaggerationmaybe!) The best things is that they dont haveto be Google users. If you share your doc andmake it public and editable by those who havethe link, they can write!

  • 14. 6. Drop and drag your documentsYou can still drag and drop between your harddrive and your Google Docs account, though thisonly works in Chrome or Firefox.This also works with images right into a Googledocument.

  • 17. 7. Revision historyA very useful aspect of Google Docs is that youcan go to File/Revision history and see all thechanges made to a document. I love the factthat you dont have to save a document inGoogle Docs - it saves automatically. No lostfiles!
